“Dr. Lori began her work in private practice following her work in non-profit, corporate, and county-funded departments of mental health, working as a therapist serving individuals, couples, and families.”
While there is no one size fits all for the therapeutic process, Dr. Lori is trained in a range of modalities and will treat a patient based on individual needs and personality. Her areas of
expertise include: Cognitive Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, Gestalt Therapy, Existential & Humanistic Therapy, Transpersonal Therapy, Family Systems, Object Relations. Schema Therapy, and Mindfulness Training. She works with children, teens, couples, families, and adults.
Lori is often sought as a guest speaker and creator of wellness campaigns for companies large and small. Dr. Lori has consulted on psychotherapy topics in the media including Fox News, CNN, MSNBC, The New York Times, Cosmopolitan, and more.
Perhaps her favorite topic in treating patients is relationship with self and with others. Dr Lori brings the TIER experience full circle by pushing mind and body out of its comfort zone to manifest change. Patients of Dr. Lori’s can buffer their in-office therapy sessions by relaxing at the Oxygen Bar, enjoying a touchless massage on the hydrotherapy bed, detoxing mentally and physically in the infra-red saunas, boosting endorphins through cryotherapy, or blending the psychosomatic treatment options by combing therapy sessions with a chiropractic visits or massage after.
Dr. Lori also offers outdoor therapy sessions in her coined “fireside therapy” where clients can sit on the private office balcony outfitted with a relaxing fire pit.
Dr. Lori received her education from UCLA, Pepperdine University, and the Chicago School of Professional Psychology. In 2020, Dr. Lori competed in the US Olympic Trials in the Marathon in Atlanta, Georgia.
